RapidSeedbox and DediSeedbox sell the same promise: a 10 Gbps port with traffic that is never metered. That one line is what you are replacing when you look for an alternative, and most of the market does not offer it. The cheaper boxes you will find sell more disk per dollar and cap what you can upload. Whether that is a better deal depends entirely on why you are leaving.
So this comparison starts from the reasons people actually move, not from a ranking. Prices are the monthly rates from SeedboxCompare's price check of 1 November 2026, listed in each provider's own currency; the per-terabyte column converts everything to US dollars at the ECB rate of 30 October 2026 (€1 = $1.1172, £1 = $1.3399).
What you have today
| Plan | Price | Disk | $ per TB | Traffic | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DediSeedbox Starter | $10 | 750 GB | 13.33 | Unmetered | Plex, Emby, Jellyfin included |
| DediSeedbox Pro | $30 | 5 TB | 6.00 | Unmetered | Same network as Starter |
| RapidSeedbox Lean Swift | $9 | 1 TB | 9.00 | Unmetered | Torrent clients only, no Plex |
| RapidSeedbox Lean Supreme | $15 | 2 TB | 7.50 | Unmetered | Torrent clients only, no Plex |
| RapidSeedbox Premium Stream | $33 | 2.2 TB | 15.00 | Unmetered | Dedicated VPS, root access, Plex |
Two details in that table explain most of the searches for alternatives.
DediSeedbox runs from one country. Every plan sits in the Netherlands. The specification does not change between tiers — 10 Gbps unmetered, WireGuard and OpenVPN, the same 50-odd one-click apps — only the disk grows. If the Netherlands is the wrong place for your peers or your streaming, no tier fixes it.
RapidSeedbox splits its range in two. The Lean plans are cheap and unmetered but run torrent clients only: no Plex. The Premium plans add a dedicated VPS with root and Plex, and cost twice as much per terabyte. Many people searching for an alternative to RapidSeedbox are really looking for Plex without paying the Premium price.
The alternatives, on the same terms
| Provider | Plan | Price | Disk | $ per TB | Traffic | Port |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hosting By Design | App Box 4 TB | €10.95 (excl. VAT) | 4 TB | 3.06 | 10 TB | 10 Gbps |
| Ultra.cc | Tin | €13.95 | 4 TB | 3.90 | 10 TB | 50 Gbps |
| Whatbox | H3-4 | €14 | 3.9 TB | 4.01 | 10 TB | 40 Gbps |
| Appbox | BG-3000 | €10.99 | 3 TB | 4.09 | Unmetered | 10 Gbps |
| GigaRapid | Gold G10 | €16.95 | 4 TB | 4.73 | 14 TB | 10 Gbps |
| Feral Hosting | Helium | £10 | 1 TB | 13.40 | Unmetered | 20 Gbps |
Read the traffic column before the price column. Five of the six cost less per terabyte than anything in the first table, and four of them pay for it with a quota. Ten terabytes of upload a month sounds like a lot until you seed a few popular releases: a 4 TB library turned over twice and seeded to a ratio of one is already 8 TB. On an unmetered plan that is a non-event. On a 10 TB quota it is most of the month.
The two exceptions sit at opposite ends. Appbox keeps traffic unmetered at about $4 per terabyte, but on a 10 Gbps port in a single European location. Feral Hosting is unmetered on a 20 Gbps network in the Netherlands and the UK, and charges more than twice DediSeedbox Pro per terabyte for it.
